How to book an appointment
We use a Total Triage system for all appointment requests. This means that every request is clinically assessed by a GP before an appointment is booked.
We use an online system called Klinik. This is available: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6:30pm.
Please complete a short online form describing your symptoms or issues. You can complete this on somebody else’s behalf too.
If you are unable to use the online service, the reception team will be able to complete a Klinik form on your behalf.
You may be:
- Offered an appointment with a GP or nurse
- Directed to a community pharmacist for minor conditions
- Referred to First Contact Physiotherapist for muscle or joint issues
- Referred to Social Prescriber for help with non-medical issues. For example, housing, isolation, financial worries, lifestyle support)
- Signposted to another local NHS service if more suitable
Our Reception Team will contact you on the same day if you submit your request by 4pm.
If you submit your request after 4pm, we will contact you within 24 hours (on the next working day).
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
You can use your local pharmacy to treat many minor ailments. Find out more about Pharmacy First and how it can help you and your family.
