Medical education

The practice has been approved for training of future General Practitioners and Medical Students. This means that G.P. Registrars – fully qualified and experienced Hospital Doctors who intend to specialise in General Practice – will spend a year working alongside the other Doctors in providing your care.

We train GP Returners, a GP Returner being a qualified GP who has taken a career break.

We also train Medical Students from Barts and The Royal London Hospital.

Occasionally you will be asked if a Student may sit in on your consultation. We appreciate your understanding in the event that a Student is present. However, if you would do not wish them to be present, please inform the receptionist when booking your appointment.

Videoing

To help in this training a few of our surgeries are recorded on video. You will be warned in advanced when this is to occur and it will never be done  without your consent.

Examinations will not be recorded and the camera will always be switched off on request.
